To make a serving of 20 (large) brownies, you'll need: 1 pound unsalted butter. 1 pound plus 12 ounces semisweet chocolate chips. 6 ounces bitter chocolate. 6 extra-large eggs. 3 cups chopped walnuts. 2 1/4 cups sugar.
Procedure: Preheat oven to 350F/180C for 15 minutes. Line a 13×9 inch pan with aluminum foil or parchment paper and leave some hanging on the sides so that it will be easy to lift the brownie off the pan easily. In a small bowl whisk together 2 tablespoons of flaxseed meal and 6 tablespoons of water and set aside.
Instructions. Preheat the oven to 350°. Line a 9x13" pan with parchment paper and spray lightly with a baking spray. (add some spray so the paper sticks to the pan, then spray the paper so all the brownie recipes from the parchment easily) In a large mixing bowl whisk butter, sugar, and vanilla until smooth.
To use flaxseeds as an egg replacer, use one tablespoon ground flaxseeds mixed with 2 tablespoons water as a substitute for one egg. Add the mix into the recipe just as you would do with the eggs- perfect replacement. Applesauce, banana and pumpkin also all make great replacements for eggs and create delicious, dense brownies.
Instructions. Preheat the oven to 180 degrees Celsius (350 Fahrenheit). Peel the bananas and add them to a food processor together with the peanut butter and cocoa powder. Blitz until you get a smooth consistency. Grease a 6-hole muffin tray/small square baking tray with oil or butter, and distribute the batter evenly.
Preheat oven to 350°F (177°C). Line the bottom and sides of an 8-inch square baking pan or 9-inch square baking pan with aluminum foil or parchment, leaving an overhang on all sides to easily lift the brownies out of the pan when cool. (If using a 9-inch pan, the bake time will be a few minutes less.) Set aside.
Combine the melted butter, sugar, and vanilla in a large bowl. Use a mixer to beat the eggs for 5 seconds. Mix the dry ingredients in a separate bowl. (Flour, cocoa powder, baking powder, and salt.) Then, stir the dry mixture into the wet (egg) mixture until well blended. Then, add the chocolate chips and walnuts.
Time to add in the vanilla (1 tsp) and salt (1/4 tsp). Mix briefly to distribute through the batter. Finally, sieve in the flour (60g | 1/2 Cup) and cocoa powder (2 tbsp). Fold gently through the mixture until there are no more visible streaks of flour. Then pour the brownie batter into your prepared tin and smooth out.
